Indigenous Advocate
The role of an Indigenous Student Advocate is to provide support to students and their families while promoting education and life-long learning in accordance with the Enhancement Agreement.
- Promoting education and assisting in overcoming any obstacles that may challenge education, both in and outside of the school setting
- Encouraging parental/guardian participation
- Maintaining and improving attendance, academics, personal goal-setting, behavior, self-esteem and peer social interaction
- Providing cultural teaching
